Tim Burton’s “Beetlejuice Beetlejuice” beats back newcomers “Speak No Evil,” “The Killer’s Game” and “Am I Racist?’ at the weekend box office.

While the initial wave of nostalgia has subsided, Warner Bros.’ “ Beetlejuice Beetlejuice ” is holding on well in its second weekend with an industry estimated $52 million, just a 53% drop from its $111 million opening.

Last week’s champ, and this week’s holdover winner, Beetlejuice Beetlejuice, took in an estimated $28.7M overseas, keeping the momentum spurred by its recent world premiere in Venice. The offshore drop was 44% which is good for this sort of title.
