The second College Football Playoff top 25 rankings and a 12-team bracket projection were released on Tuesday. Tennessee (8-1, 5-1 SEC) is ranked No. 7 after defeating Mississippi State, 33-14, in Week 11.

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WATE) — Tennessee remained at No. 7 in the College Football Playoff Rankings after topping Mississippi State 33-14. If current projections were to hold, Tennessee would host eighth-ranked Notre Dame at Neyland Stadium in the opening playoff round. Undefeated Indiana jumped Tennessee in the rankings this week.
