Davina McCall has shocked fans of the Masked Singer after she was unmasked as one of the hidden celebrity hopefuls in the Christmas special. Host of the ITV hit show told viewers at the start of Thursday's show that Davina would not be on the judging panel, instead replaced by Dawn French and Jennifer Saunders.

The TV star, who has been a panellist on the ITV talent show for the last five series, said appearing on the Christmas special - which aired on Boxing Day - was "too good an opportunity to miss"
