Now former Los Angeles Chargers running back J.K. Dobbins has shared multiple messages in the wake of his leaving the team via free agency and signing with the Denver Broncos. One, though, feels like a warning of sorts.
JK Dobbins explains why he signed with the Denver Broncos in NFL free agency, citing Bo Nix, coaching, and team potential as primary reasons.
On this episode of "Broncos in 60," Head Coach Sean Payton discusses the progress made on Day 2 of minicamp. Plus, Denver's newest running back, J.K. Dobbins, details his reasons for signing with the Broncos.
The Broncos add the veteran and former Charger to join second-round pick R.J. Harvey and other young running backs.
The Denver Broncos are shaking up their running back depth chart, bringing in veteran J.K. Dobbins on a one-year deal. The full contract details are not yet known -- and the signing is not yet official -- but NFL Network (and other outlets) have reported the contract is worth "up to" $5.25 million. The key to that is "up to."
Dobbins agreed to a one-year, $5.25 million contract with the Broncos in free agency, according to NFL Network's Tom Pelissero and Ian Rapoport. Dobbins, 26, spent four years with the Baltimore Ravens before signing a one-year deal with the Chargers ahead of the 2024 season.
