Two people were injured during a shooting that was reported about 10:30 p.m. Thursday on Linwood Street in Detroit. The victims are both in their 20s, and are reported to be in critical condition as a result of the injuries. The location was in the 8500 block of Linwood Street, near Pingree Street.

Detroit police are seeking tips in a fatal shooting Wednesday on the city's northeast side. At approximately 8:30 p.m., officers responded to the 14600 block of Mapleridge and found a shooting victim in his 40s. He was pronounced dead on the scene. A suspect was taken into custody and a weapon recovered, police said.
