A man went into the woman's apartment through her second-story balcony and assaulted her on May 4. The man remains unidentified, Fort Collins Police say.

At least two Fort Collins girls and some Denver residents received text messages that included recipients’ names and ordered them to “pick cotton.”

Federal and state authorities are working to find the origins of racist text messages sent to Black people across the country referencing slavery and telling them they were “selected to pick cotton at the nearest plantation.

Thousands of Black residents across several U.S. states reported that they received racist texts the day after the election. The reports have come out of at least 20 states, including California, according to CBS News.
