Carlos Alcaraz extended his winning streak in Tennis Paradise! World no. 3 faced Francisco Cerundolo in the Indian Wells quarter-final and earned a 6-3, 7-6 victory in an hour and 43 minutes. Thus, the Spaniard notched his 16th consecutive win in the desert.

The 21 year-old Alcaraz is bidding to become the youngest player to win three consecutive singles titles at any ATP Tour event — and just the third to do it at Indian Wells after Roger Federer (2004-06) and Novak Djokovic (2014-16).

His opponent in the quarterfinals will be Francisco Cerundolo, who is comfortable in these particularly slow conditions and who eliminated the Australian ace Alex de Minaur in the round of sixteen.
