Michigan hired Kyle Whittingham to clean up its mess of a football program in the wake of another scandal and the new head coach has already begun the work.

The Michigan Wolverines pulled the trigger on Kyle Whittingham as the team's new head coach Friday, giving fans of one of the country's most successful programs plenty of reasons to celebrate. The Wolverines pounced on one of the state of Utah's most successful coaches of all-time just two weeks after Whittingham resigned following a 10-2 season in Salt Lake City.
