During the offseason, the Miami Dolphins’ 2025 second-round pick has focused on building relationships with his teammates both on and off the field.

Right tackle Austin Jackson and edge rusher Bradley Chubb went at it all day when they were matched up. Both are coming off knee injuries and both looked good.

MIAMI GARDENS -- Miami Dolphins coach Mike McDaniel met with reporters to offer an update on Bayron Matos, Artie Burns and touch on a variety of other subjects. Matos is the team's international player who was injured at the end of the first practice of training camp and airlifted to a hospital with upper-body injury.

Burns is a former Miami Hurricanes standout who was a first-round pick of the Pittsburgh Steelers in 2016. An eight-year NFL veteran, spending the past three years with the Seattle Seahawks, the Miami native was making a homecoming this season as an offseason free agent signing.

Miami Dolphins defensive lineman Zach Sieler, the team's 2024 MVP, expressed optimism about ongoing contract negotiations. Sieler believes he has earned a pay raise after a strong season with 55 tackles and back-to-back years with 10 sacks.
