South Park' is leaving HBO Max after five years, following Paramount's deal securing exclusive rights to the animated show.

Paramount and Park County had inked a temporary extension with HBO Max while they negotiated a new streaming and overall deal.

The animated series from Matt Stone and Trey Parker will exit the WBD platform on Aug. 5, marking the end of a five-year run as the show's U.S. streaming home. The exit comes after the show's production company Park County and Paramount inked a new deal,
