The Gunners made three exceptional additions in Riccardo Calafiori, Mikel Merino and Raheem Sterling, who joined on deadline day. There was some movement out of the door, too, as Emile Smith Rowe and Eddie Nketiah both departed after graduating through the Hale End academy.
