The first beluga whale calf born at Chicago's Shedd Aquarium in several years is now seven months old and is being slowly introduced to the rest of the aquarium's pod of whales.

Shedd Aquarium has named its two newest rockhopper penguins, Pico and Douglas, nods to their South American roots and the Falkland Islands’ penguin population, respectively.
