The college football season just finished up its longest year ever, and the Ohio State football team decided to mess around and win the new 12-team College Football Playoff by beating Notre Dame

COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio State’s season is now over, which means its coaches can hit the recruiting trail. After a few weeks of playing in the playoffs and winning the national championship game, Ohio State coaches are able to get back out and focus on future Buckeye rosters.

With the 2024 college football season over, here's a look at Ohio State football's 2025 schedule, including dates for the Buckeyes' biggest games:

The Ohio State Buckeyes are enjoying their national championship as much as they can, but it didn't take long for the rest of the country to turn their attention to next season. The Buckeyes have already lost Jim Knowles as defensive coordinator and could see Chip Kelly depart as well.

The Buckeyes also got promising news from cornerback Davison Igbinosun last week. Like Styles, he elected to pass on the 2025 NFL Draft and return for Ohio State’s title-defending season. Safety Caleb Downs was the only player guaranteed to return for the Buckeyes' 2025 campaign.
