Dre is a mentor to Kendrick and was a special guest at his ‘Pop Out’ concert in Los Angeles last summer, where he performed many of his tracks that take aim at Drake, and he is a huge fan of his Grammy nominated hit ‘Not Like Us’. The sold-out show broke attendance records for the venue.

Dr. Dre is pretty clearly on Kendrick Lamar’s side when it comes to his feud with Drake, considering he showed up to Lamar’s The Pop Out concert last year. Now, Dre has offered part of his reasoning for supporting Kendrick over Drake.

Dr. Dre is backing his boy Kendrick Lamar all the way! The 59-year-old record producer has been one of Kendrick's mentors since 2011, so it comes as no surprise that he has sided with the Swimming Pools singer.
