After being the life of this last decade’s off-road party, Jeep has in the last few years suffered something of a hangover. With an aging lineup and slipping sales, dealers wound up swamped with hard-to-sell models and limited answers to the growing demand for electrified options.
Jeep seeks ‘perfect quality' on EV launch in quest to reverse sales slide
The brand originally vowed it would launch the Wagoneer S this fall, but CEO Antonio Filosa said he needs to ensure the EV is high quality before sending it to dealerships.
Jeep Wagoneer EV to bow 2025, Ram 1500 REV by year-end
New 2024 Ram 1500 REV pickups will begin rolling out of Sterling Heights late 2024, hitting the market well after rival trucks from Ford, Rivian, Tesla, and General Motors. Stellantis is hoping the electrified Ram’s range – in base trims, it’s supposed to offer 563 km (350 miles) on a full charge – will give it a leg up over its competitors.
