Police in Oakland on Friday confirmed the arrest of a suspect in the fatal shooting of Wayne Shaw, the brother of famed Bay Area rap legend Too Short, who was killed late last month.

Oakland police said the officer soon realized it was his patrol car that was hit by the gunfire. He was not injured. The officer may have been targeted, police said. A suspect was arrested Monday afternoon. Police said the investigation is ongoing and anyone with information is asked to call them at 510-238-3426.
