A high wind warning was issued by the NWS Newport/Morehead City NC on Thursday at 1:45 a.m. valid for Friday between 5 a.m. and 4 p.m.

A low pressure system will bring some much-needed rain and the potential for coastal impacts along the Outer Banks on Friday, November 15, according to an update from the National Weather Service. The low will move through eastern North Carolina on Thursday night and rapidly strengthen as it moves offshore on Friday,

On Thursday at 4:06 a.m. the NWS Wakefield VA issued a coastal flood warning valid for Friday between 1 a.m. and 1 p.m.

On Thursday at 4:44 a.m. a coastal flood warning was issued by the NWS Newport/Morehead City NC valid from Friday 3 a.m. until Saturday 10 a.m.
