Stock Market Highlights: 29 out of the 50 constituent stocks of the benchmark NSE Nifty50 ended lower, dragged by Hindustan Unilever, Britannia Industries, BPCL, Tata Consumer, and Nestle India

Wednesday was another day of fall for benchmark stock indices Sensex and Nifty as US 10-year bond yields spiked and dollar hit four-month high against a basket of major currencies, ahead of US CPI inflation data later in the day.

In a highly volatile session, the Indian equity indices ended with little change on November 11. At close, the Sensex was up 9.83 points or 0.01 percent at 79,496.15, and the Nifty was down 6.90 points or 0.03 percent at 24,141.30.

The stock market is expected to trade in a narrow range today, following a positive opening signaled by GIFT Nifty. As of 8:00 am, GIFT Nifty was trading at 24,125, up by 0.03%.

Share prices of HDFC Bank Ltd., ICICI Bank Ltd., Axis Bank Ltd., State Bank Of India, and Tata Steel Ltd. contributed the most to the gains.
