Officials with the Sioux Falls Police Department have arrest a man they say is connected with a kidnapping case from Wednesday. Edgar Segura, 30, of Sioux Falls, has been charged with aggravated assault, kidnapping involving a serious injury and second degree attempted rape, according to Minnehaha County court records.

A Sioux Falls parent is voicing his concerns over the arrest this week of a 15-year-old who had a gun outside a school. He's not satisfied with how the school district communicated with parents.

The juvenile escaped custody Wednesday night after the arrest. He was later found Thursday morning, police said.
