Snow White actress Rachel Zegler is facing backlash after she posted her feelings about Donald Trump and his supporters on Instagram last week following his election win. The comments have prompted some Disney fans to vow a boycott of the film’s March 2025 release.

Disney has revealed that the cost of making its live action Snow White ballooned to $269.4m by the end of 2023 putting it on course to blow its budget more than a year before release.

Zegler plays the titular role of Snow White in the live-action film, which is set to release in the spring of 2025. With her comments going viral on X, outraged Trump supporters are vowing to boycott the project.
