Spirit AeroSystems expects to post higher-than-expected quarterly revenue, helped by production restarting at its biggest customer Boeing after a crippling strike, the U.S. aerospace giant said on Monday.

Spirit AeroSystems ( NYSE: SPR) on Monday provided an estimate of quarterly revenue that is greater than what Wall Street analysts on average expect. The company’s biggest customer, planemaker Boeing ( NYSE: BA ), restarted production to drive the revenue gains.

Spirit AeroSystems (NYSE: SPR) reported preliminary fourth-quarter 2024 results on Monday, with revenue exceeding analyst expectations despite posting a net loss.

Shares of the company rose about 1% in premarket trading. Boeing last month said it was making progress on increasing plane production after a crippling strike that shuttered production of most of its jets ended in November.
