The return of the acclaimed drama, airing on Apple TV Plus from Friday January 17, focuses once again on Mark ( Parks and Recreation's Adam Scott) who, like many employees at Lumon, has chosen to have his work life surgically severed from his home life.

"Severance" fans commuting through Grand Central Station in New York City Tuesday were confronted by a special surprise ahead of Season 2's Friday release. A recreation of the office from the Apple TV+ series was placed inside a glass box in the center of the high-traffic train station,

The pop-up began when a large glass box appeared in Grand Central's Vanderbilt Hall, containing a replica of the four-seated desk from Lumon's Macrodata Refinement department. Hired actors playing Lumon employees sat at their desks, doing Lumon things (by which I mean, sorting numbers while not having a clue what said numbers mean).
