COLLEGE PARK, Md. (7News) — Voters head to the polls Tuesday for Prince George’s County’s special election. The Council’s District 5 seat is at stake, but most are closely watching the race for a new county executive, now that it has been vacated by new U.S. Senator Angela Alsobrooks.

In her acceptance speech at the grand ballroom at Metro Points Hotel in New Carrollton, Braveboy vowed to represent all Prince Georgians.

Tuesday is primary election day for the Prince George’s County special election and the last day to vote. Although thousands have already voted, many were still making their way to the polls Tuesday morning.
