Democrats tried to harness the energy around the fight over abortion rights to make the race a quasi-referendum on the state's near-total ban.

After a spirited campaign, Todd Rokita is projected to have another term as the state’s attorney general. According to projected results from the Associated Press, Rokita, the Republican incumbent, is expected to be reelected to another term after defeating Democratic challenger Destiny Wells in Indiana’s attorney general’s race.
