One dead and one seriously injured by a Russian missile in Odesa. As 1,079 days of war in Ukraine are reached, Kiev continues to attack Russian strategic infrastructures. This morning, a missile was launched against an aerodrome from where the Russian Army regularly launches drones into Ukrainian territory.

Ukraine said on Friday it had struck a Russian oil refinery and a microchip factory in a huge drone attack that caused fires at the refinery's production facilities and an oil pumping station.

Ukraine's air defense systems successfully intercepted 56 drones across 11 oblasts, including Kharkiv, Poltava, Sumy, Kyiv, Cherkasy, Chernihiv, Zhytomyr, Vinnytsia, Zaporizhzhya, Dnipropetrovsk, and Odesa.
