SURPRISE, Ariz. — Southbound Loop 303 is closed near Peoria Avenue in Surprise. A person was hit by a car while trying to pick up a ladder in the roadway, according to DPS. The person who was hit died at the scene. Drivers should expect delays and look for an alternate route if possible.
