Nano Dimension has announced its intention to acquire Markforged in yet another major move from the Israeli 3D printer manufacturer.

Markforged Holding Corporation (NYSE:MKFG) and Nano Dimension Ltd. (NASDAQ:NNDM) shares jumped on Wednesday after the companies disclosed an acquisition deal. As per the deal, Nano Dimension will acquire all outstanding shares of Markforged in an all-cash deal at $5.

Nano Dimension (NASDAQ:NNDM) will acquire industrial 3D printing firm Markforged (NYSE:MKFG) in an all-cash transaction for $5.00 per share, both companies announced on Wednesday. Shares of Waltham, Massachusetts-based Markforged skyrocketed nearly 75% at 4.

Waltham-based Markforged has agreed to be acquired by Nano Dimension, an Israeli 3-D printing company with US headquarters in Waltham. It’s the second time this year that Nano Dimension has purchased a local 3-D printing company; in July it agreed to pay $183 million for Markforged rival Desktop Metal of Burlington.

Nano Dimension, based in Waltham, Massachusetts, USA, has announced a $115 million deal to acquire Markforged Holding Corporation, based in Watertown, Massachusetts, USA. Entering into a definitive agreement, the all-cash transaction will see Nano Dimension purchase all outstanding Markforged shares for $5.00 per share.

Markforged is set to be acquired by Nano Dimension, which earlier this year inked a deal worth up to $185 million to acquire Desktop Metal.
