Edmonton goalie Stuart Skinner left Tuesday’s game in Boston late in the first period after a hard collision with Bruins defenseman Nikita Zadorov, then was back on the ice for the start of the second.

The first reaction many had to Nikita Zadorov’s crushing hit on Stuart Skinner Tuesday night was dismay. And understandably so, as years ago something like that would’ve resulted in a full-on melee.

The Edmonton Oilers had a dominant 4-0 win over the Boston Bruins, but if there was one stain on an otherwise perfect game, it was the lack of response after Zadorov's hit on Stuart Skinner.
