Starting January 2023, the Big Blue Barn Thrift Store located at the Yolo County Central Landfill at 44090 County Road 28H, will now be open every Thursday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Big Blue is planning an open house on Thursday to celebrate the 2nd anniversary of the thrift store. Williams adds Big Blue is a benefit for the community to know about.

The Big Blue Recycling Barn thrift store was developed to reduce the county’s carbon footprint and meet Yolo County’s objectives focused on waste reduction.
