EMPORIA, Kan. (WIBW) - A boil water advisory that took effect Tuesday for customers in the Emporia area will likely continue through the weekend and into next week, according to KVOE Radio.
Water officials in an Upstate town said customers in a specific area were under a boil water advisory until further notice.
The reason for the precautionary Boil Advisory is due to a loss of water pressure caused by a break in a water line during massive flooding. 1. Boil water vigorously for three minutes prior to use.
