New Edinburgh council taxi inspection centre is £1.3 million over budget
A new council testing centre for cabs and private hire cars is £1.3m over budget and almost a year late, an investigation by the Local Democracy Reporting Service can reveal.
This is the first prosecution under Police Scotland's Operation Portaledge, which was launched in response to gang violence that blighted the east and west of the country earlier this year.
