Disney's Rachel Zegler-led live-action Snow White remake has been hit with several setbacks - setbacks that have, quite literally, come at a cost.

Zegler plays the titular role of Snow White in the live-action film, which is set to release in the spring of 2025. With her comments going viral on X, outraged Trump supporters are vowing to boycott the project.

Disney has revealed that the cost of making its live action Snow White ballooned to $269.4 million by the end of 2023 putting it on course to blow its budget more than a year before release.
