The San Antonio Spurs traveled to face the Sacramento Kings on Friday night, a matchup that, at the start of the season, would've been seen as just a typical Western Conference contest. However, it meant more Friday as it was the first return to Sacramento for Spurs guard De'Aaron Fox since being dealt in early February.

De'Aaron Fox probably wasn't expecting that when he returned to Sacramento. In his first game against the Sacramento Kings since they granted his trade request to the San Antonio Spurs, Fox and his new team were blown out 127-109 on Friday.

Fox returned Friday night as part of the opposition to play his first game against his original team since being traded to San Antonio in a three-team deal last month. The Spurs lost 127-109 to the Kings as Fox scored 16 points on 6-of-17 shooting.
