TV viewers will be in their element after Netflix has announced incredible news for fans of Baby Reindeer - which will see the show's legacy go from strength to strength. The streaming giant has signed a new deal with award-winning show creator Richard Gadd despite a $170 million defamation case being taken out against Baby Reindeer.

Fiona Harvey's comments come as the streaming channel’s CEO, Ted Sarandon, 60, revealed Netflix has inked a first-look deal for future projects with the 35-year old Scots comedian.

The $170 million defamation case against Netflix over Baby Reindeer is heading to trial next year. On Tuesday, a federal judge set a start date of May 6, 2025 for Fiona Harvey ’s big swing action against the streamer. The proceedings are estimated to last about two weeks.
