Skies stay mostly cloudy throughout the day. A cold front brings showers in the afternoon and evening. Showers begin in our western counties around 2 p.m., through Detroit by 4 p.m. and then out of the area after 7 p.

Between the hours of 2-7 p.m. today a cold front will move through, increasing the chance for spotty rain showers and even an isolated thunderstorm. Severe weather is unlikely, but we might hear a few rumbles of thunder.

Dry weather returns today, with partly sunny skies and highs in the low to mid 70s. The weather is looking great for Monday Night Football tailgating! Expect temperatures in the low 70s to start, then falling into the upper 60s as you're walking in to Ford Field.
