Agents from a handful of federal agencies combined to arrest more than 40 people in the country illegally early Sunday during a raid in Adams County, Colorado, the local office of the Drug Enforcement Administration said.

As the Trump administration intensifies its crackdown on immigrants who are in the country illegally, officials and agencies took to social media to publicize the arrests.

ICE officials say 956 people were arrested in raids across the country on Sunday. 2,681 arrests have been made since President Trump's inauguration. Border czar Tom Homan confirmed to NBC News that some of those arrests were "collateral",
