Almost a year after the Hoosiers were demolished in Iowa City, Indiana returned the favor at Carver-Hawkeye Arena, taking down Iowa.

Indiana’s reserves brought the team back from a 23-13 deficit midway through the first half. The Hoosiers even took a brief lead after Bryson Tucker threw down a fastbreak dunk with 8:03 to go in the half that punctuated a 13-0 run.

The Hawkeyes fall to 12-5 overall and 2-4 in Big Ten play with the loss and have now lost three consecutive games for the first time since the 2017-18 campaign.

With under four minutes remaining in the first half, graduate student guard Sydney Parrish made a wide-open layup that gave Indiana women’s basketball a 15-point lead over Iowa on Sunday — its largest of the day. Parrish’s layup was the end of the Hoosiers’ 14-2 run. Indiana’s quick pace forced Hawkeye's head coach Jen Jansen to call a timeout.
