A suspect is facing several charges after allegedly fleeing police on moped and ending up in the Connecticut River.

SOUTH HADLEY, MA (WGGB/WSHM) - One person was injured in South Hadley as crews responded to a house fire Wednesday night.

The incident occurred shortly before 6:30 p.m. on the 800 block of Somers Road. The East Longmeadow Fire Department said that, when crews first arrived, the minivan was fully engulfed in flames.
