According to a report from The Athletic, Wrexham are closing in on the signing of Man City defender Callum Doyle, in a deal worth up to £8m. Sheffield United and Rangers were also keen on the defender, but it looks as though he's going to be heading to north Wales.

AN accidental early-morning fire destroyed a vehicle on the A483 in Wrexham, it has been confirmed. North Wales Fire and Rescue Service received a call just after 2.30am on Tuesday morning reporting the incident - which happened in a layby between junctions 6 and 5 on the southbound carriageway.
