State police are investigating after a wrong-way crash resulted in serious injuries in Bridgeport Sunday night. Troopers said they responded to Route 8 South near the Route 25 connector around 8 p.m.
A wrong-way crash on Route 8 on Sunday closed the highway and caused injuries, officials say. Connecticut State Police say troopers were called just before 8:30 p.m. about a crash involving a wrong-way driver in the Exit 5 area of Route 8.
