Week 11 featured two top 25 matchups in the SEC. No. 12 Ole Miss (8-2, 4-2 SEC) defeated Georgia (7-2, 5-2 SEC), 28-10, at Vaught–Hemingway Stadium in Oxford, Mississippi. No. 11 Alabama defeated No. 13 LSU, 42-13, at Tiger Stadium in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

A pair of decisive games in the SEC this past week have set up the league for potential chaos by the end of the regular season. Alabama routed LSU 42-13 and Ole Miss rolled past Georgia 28-10, cutting by 40% the number of teams with one loss in SEC play.

It was a wild week in the SEC as two of the five teams tied for first place suffered crushing losses. The biggest giant to fall was the Georgia Bulldogs, who were soundly beaten at Ole Miss 28-10. UGA now has two conference losses and it is unlikely the 'Dawgs will reach the SEC title game.
