Meta is integrating WhatsApp into its Accounts Center, as WABetaInfo spotted. The change, which is rolling out globally “over the next few months,” lets WhatsApp users share status updates across Instagram and Facebook, as well as enable single sign-on.

Meta has added the WhatsApp linking option to make the Accounts Center more relevant and attractive for users.

Accounts Center is a single space allowing users to manage their Facebook, Instagram and (even) Meta Quest log-ins. Today, Meta has announced that WhatsApp is joining the list of supported apps, enabling you to reshare statuses and posts across all of your platforms.

Meta will let you link your WhatsApp account to Accounts Center allowing you to reshare status updates as Facebook or Instagram stories.

It’ll be easier to reshare updates from WhatsApp Status to Facebook or Instagram Stories and show friends and family members what’s happening in life without having to post multiple times.
