Family and friends attended a wake for 25-year-old Billy DiMaio in Middletown. DiMaio was one of 14 people killed New Year's Day when a man intentionally drove a truck into a crowd on Bourbon Street. DiMaio grew up in Holmdel and was in New Orleans with friends at the time of the attack.

Shamsud-Din Bahar Jabbar, 42, has been identified as the suspect who drove a car into a crowd of people along Bourbon Street around 3:15 a.m. on Wednesday morning. Jabbar was shot and killed by officers after opening fire on them during the attack. Two New Orleans police officers were injured.

Family, friends, and those who knew 25-year-old Billy DiMaio will pay tribute to him during a funeral service in Holmdel on Thursday.
