Catherine Rampell, a Washington Post opinion columnist who has been a regular presence on CNN and other news programs, will join MSNBC a a co-host of its evening "Weekend" roundtable program, the latest new hire under network president Rebecca Kutler.

Catherine Rampell, syndicated opinion columnist for The Washington Post, will co-host the evening edition of MSNBC ‘s The Weekend. She will host along with Ayman Mohyeldin, with an additional co-host to be named. Rampell will join the network in the spring.
