As Dylan Harper, the second overall pick of the NBA Draft, signed his contract with the Spurs, he called the off-season experience surreal.

The Spurs selected the former Rutgers standout with the No. 2 overall pick in the 2025 NBA draft. Harper was impressive during his lone season with the Scarlet Knights, earning All-Big Ten honors while averaging 19.4 points, 4.6 rebounds, 4.0 assists and 1.4 steals per game in 29 appearances.

The Spurs have signed second overall pick Dylan Harper to his rookie scale contract. Per terms of the league's collective bargaining agreement, the deal is for four years and worth about $56.1 million. The third and fourth seasons come at a team option.
