FBI agents have raided the home of Donald Trump’s former national security adviser John Bolton. Officers raided his home in Bethesda, Maryland, at around 12pm (7am local time) on Friday. Kash Patel, the FBI director, reportedly ordered an investigation into Mr Bolton. Shortly after the raid began, he wrote on social media:

The FBI conducted a court-authorized search at John Bolton’s home as part of a national security investigation into whether he disclosed classified information in his 2020 book, according to two people familiar with the matter.

"NO ONE is above the law," FBI Director Kash Patel posted to X after news broke that feds had raided the home of the former Trump official.
