New York has 67 state-owned swimming beaches and all are tested regularly to determine the public's risk of coming in contact with waterborne diseases.

The National Weather Service has issued a heat advisory for Loveland and the surrounding area from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday. Temperatures are expected to hit 101 in Loveland.
