A nightmare AFL grand final day for Sydney coach John Longmire was made even worse when his post-match press conference was interrupted by the raucous sound of Brisbane’s celebrations next door.

The father of Sydney coach John Longmire chose to watch the AFL grand final at home instead of the MCG, saying he would have been in a "bit of strife" in responding to rival fans during the Swans belting by the Brisbane Lions.
