Malik Beasley's lawyers told ESPN's Shams Charania last week that the veteran guard is no longer the target of a federal gambling investigation, opening the door for him to potentially latch on with a team in free agency.

The New York Post's Stefan Bondy confirmed the Knicks' interest in Beasley on Saturday, writing, "The Knicks touched base previously with Malik Beasley's camp and are viewed as a potential option for the 3-point marksman, a league source says... The Knicks, however, only have a vet minimum to offer."
