Springfield bar and grill catches fire on Christmas Day
A bar and grill caught fire at the corner of N. Grand Avenue W and MacArthur Boulevard on Wednesday morning. A sedan caused the fire when it crashed into the building. The car had knocked down a traffic light before colliding into MVPs Bar & Grill around 4:30 a.m., Springfield Fire Chief Ed Canny said.
